PERCEIVE Talks: a completed webinar series on colour change, conservation, and digital heritage

The PERCEIVE Talks webinar series took place between April 2025 and January 2026 and represented a core component of the PERCEIVE Training Program, developed within Work Package 2 of the PERCEIVE project.  Each PERCEIVE Talk focused on a specific topic and adopted a multidisciplinary perspective, integrating contributions from art history, archaeology, physics, chemistry, and digital technologies. Particular attention was given to non-invasive analytical techniques, imaging methodologies, and digital simulations of colour change, which play a crucial role in studying photodegradation and supporting conservation decision-making.  All webinars were structured around two speakers, who addressed the same topic from complementary perspectives, followed by an open Q&A session, encouraging interdisciplinary exchange and active engagement among professionals, researchers, and institutions.  The complete PERCEIVE Talks series is now available on demand through the dedicated playlist on the project’s YouTube channel, providing a long-term training resource for professionals and researchers interested in colour studies, conservation, and digital technologies applied to cultural heritage. 👉 Check out the PERCEIVE Talks Playlist PERCEIVE Talks – Webinar episodes  PERCEIVE Theory
