Echoes of Loss<\/h2>\n

The Caring Prototype designed by the project, supports the creation of User Experiences that activates the sense of care towards the fragility of Cultural Heritage. It is based on the scientific research carried out by the team on \u201ccaring\u201d, as an iterative and active process where a relationship with the heritage is built on a sense of wonder and sense of loss, that create an empathic connection, and it is then strengthened by providing a knowledge base.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Citizens, in fact, may feel they have no power to save our heritage and its colours, since such efforts are solely in the hands of decision makers, institutions or experts. However, we all can have an impact on the \u201cfuture of the past\u201d through small actions: seeking information, deepening knowledge, visiting exhibitions, sharing experiences with others, making donations, and more.<\/p>\n

\u201cEchoes of Loss\u201d<\/strong>, part of the exhibition \u201cPerceive Isis\u2019 Colours\u201d<\/a> curated by MANN and CNR ISPC, is made of 3 modules: (a) a narrative video whose goal is to solicit sense of wonder and sense of loss; (b) a tangible interactive installation \u201cColour Lab\u201d dedicated to the development of the knowledge base; (c) a tangible interactive projection mapping on the statue of Venus, as an award for the visitor.<\/p>\n

The PERCEIVE consortium developed a second caring prototype, applied to “The Scream” by E. Munch: Tiny Conservators<\/a><\/p>\n
